Night of the Dragon


The Sixteenth Annual Night of the Dragon Auction is Saturday evening, March 10, 2018, from 6:00 pm until 11:00 pm, at the Hilton Hotel and Spa at Short Pump. Ample free parking is available adjacent to the building.

Dress for the evening is business casual.

The evening begins with the Silent Auction from 6:00 to 8:15 pm. The first round of items closes at 7:30 with subsequent rounds closing every 15 minutes until 8:15, so you will want to come early and bid often! The popular Heads and Tails Raffle begins at 8:30 pm, followed immediately by the Live Auction.

Appetizers and a dinner buffet will be served, and the cash bar will be open throughout the event. Drink tickets for bar beverages can be pre-purchased with event tickets for $8 each. Cash will be required at the bar. Some drinks may be less than $8 at the cash bar. Dessert will be served following the Live Auction.

We are happy to accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Card, checks, and cash as payment for auction items. Checks should be made payable to “MLWGS PTSA”. If you do not purchase Heads and Tails raffle tickets online, they may be purchased at the auction with your bidder number. You will then see the $10 charge on your bill at checkout.

Check out begins after the Live Auction, and all items must be paid for and picked up on the night of the auction. If you must leave early, this year early checkout begins at 9:00 PM.

Event tickets are $70 per person and must be purchased in advance.

This year the PTSA is allowing the teachers and one guest to come for free. We hope they will join us for a festive night away from school; where the only school talk will be about how much money we can raise!
